There is a gentleman in my life who is interested in “getting to know” me.  I am clear about that from the fact that he often texts me, and has been trying to “hang out” with me for a couple of months now.

Most recently when we ran into each other on a Friday evening, he asked what I was into late r that night, and I shared I was going to bed early because the week had been long and I was exhausted.

He poked fun at me “being no fun,” asked,

“When do you relax?”

I shared that I try to keep Sunday as a day of rest, to which he replied, 

“Great, I’ll bring over a bottle wine and we’ll kick it!  Do you like Prosecco?

Those who know me, know I loooove to sit back and relax with a bottle of wine and good company…the thing is, he and I have never spent any time together so I’m not comfortable with having him over to my place or going to his.

Some say I’m old-fashioned, but I prefer to say I am sensible.  I’m not spending time alone in private with a virtual stranger. 

So here’s the tip fellas. 

If you want to spend some alone time with a quality woman, you need to put in the work to create a sufficient level of comfort first.

I’m not sure when going out to dinner or drinks and getting to know one another in public when out of style, but I am an advocate for bringing it back!  No, its not about getting a FREE MEAL or trying to impress women with how expensive the venue is. It’s about meeting and breaking the ice on neutral territory in a safe public place.

When a Virtuous Vixen INVITES you to her home, its a sign that she now feels comfortable with you, that she is starting to trust you and THAT is the first step towards a deeper level of intimacy.

If money is an issue there are lots of creative ways to spend time in public that don’t have to break the bank such as:

• Getting Coffee or smoothies
• Going for a walk
• Going to a museum on the Free Day
• Going to a talk or lecture of a topic & discussing it over drinks later
• Going to an outdoor festival/concert

Be creative not CREEPY! 

When I guy is too insistent that he come over or that I come to his place when I first meet him, its weird and puts my guard up immediately.
